BioDIP's History

The BioDIP has developed over a couple of years. Major steps were the foundation of the Imaging Facilities Network (IFN) in 2006 and later the foundation of the BioDIP in 2013 enabled by the DFG "Core facilities" funding.
Here you find the timeline containing minor and major milestones of BioDIPs development.

BioDIP has applied for the 2nd DFG "Core Facilities" call

BioDIP has submitted a proposal to the DFG applying for additional two years of funding with the aim to establish BioDIP as a sustainable central unit for imaging technologies within the TUD and DRESDEN-concept.

Within the two years of funding extension it is planned to support external scientists to visit BioDIP for the implementation of their imaging research projects.
This initiative will prepare BioDIP for actively joining the Euro-BioImaging network.
